Unlike a traditional CV, your “My CV Upgrade” profile offers a more dynamic and detailed presentation of your skills, experiences, and career aspirations.
Candidates can sign up to create their personal profile for free, adding information about their career history, skills, and job preferences. For a fee, users can upgrade their profiles with results from various tests we provide (language proficiency, technical skills, personality) and add a custom video interview to further showcase their qualifications.

Creating a basic profile on “My CV Upgrade” is completely free. However, there are premium features available, such as skill assessments and video interviews, that users can purchase to enhance their profiles further.

If you are a premium user and reach 70% correct answers in the language and in the skill test we will give you a ‘Top Talent’ badge and add it to your profile (next to your name), we will also issue a digital certificate that you can add to your LinkedIn certifications and to your traditional CV.
We offer a variety of tests to validate your skills, including language proficiency tests for English or other foreign languages, technical skill assessments relevant to your field, and personality tests to help employers understand your work style. You can find a list of the over 1350+ tests here.
Please note that our test are mostly multi choice based and they are in English, so a minimum level of B1 English knowledge is required to take the tests.
Once your profile is created, you can share your unique “My CV Upgrade” URL on LinkedIn, in your CV, or directly with potential employers through any preferred communication channel. Your page will be optimized also for SEO and AI readibility and this will give you an advantage when companies are searching for candidates. employers and recruiters can browse and filter through the “My CV Upgrade” database to find candidates who match their requirements. Why My CV Upgrade is different to other CV builders and job boards?
We are not another CV builder, we want to go beyond the classic info about the past normally present in your Resume. We want to portray a full picture of your professional persona, including your soft and hard skills and competence. We are also a reverse job board, where employers can apply to you! We save your time by creating an enriched profile that let’s employer know your strengths and aspirations.
Will my current employer know that I am open for opportunities?
It is highly unlikely. Employers know that you have a LinkedIn profile and a Resume, ‘My CV Upgrade’ is just a more advanced tool to fully showcase your experience and skills. You should select the option ‘Open to offers’ instead of ‘Actively looking’ in your page if you are worried about your current employer finding out you are actively looking for a change.
Can I use my My CV Upgrade Page/profile elsewhere?
You can use the enriched profile also when you apply directly to employers. We give you the link to your enriched My CV Upgrade page and you can add it to your resume and/or to your LinkedIn profile. It’s completely up to you. We suggest to always add it to your resume, and add it to your social media profiles only when you are actively looking for new opportunities.
Why the process to complete your profile is long?
Setting up an enriched profile on My CV Upgrade requires some time, on average 2 hours in total. Remember that the time you invest in this activity pays off over time. You receive applications from employers instead of spending time searching and applying for jobs, and you experience shorter recruitment processes, eliminating the need for repetitive screening interviews.
What happens if I provide false or not accurate data in the registration process?
It is important that you provide true and accurate data in the registration process and that you don’t cheat during the testing phase. If we discover inaccurate data and cheating we will remove your enriched profile and ban you forever from our platform.
Is it free to open my account?
My CV Upgrade basic profile is currently completely free for candidates who can register through this link. We ask money only if you want to upgrade your profile by going premium.
I know potential Top Talents. What can I do?
We have launched a Candidate gets Candidates referral program. You can invite to My CV Upgrade friends and colleagues or people you know are currently looking for a new career opportunity.
Can I change the data in my enriched profile?
Yes you can constantly edit the data in your profile, for example you can change from ‘Actively looking for jobs’ to ‘Not looking for opportunities’ once you land a new job. The data related to premium test and video are managed by us, you can ask for edits and removals via our chat or by sending an email to info@mycvupgrade.com
Can I delete my enriched profile?
Normally, we keep your profile online for 2 years, after which we will request your consent to retain it for an additional 2 years. If you wish to have your data completely deleted, please send an email to info@mycvupgrade.com to request data removal. We would appreciate receiving feedback about why you want your profile removed.

Why I should register an Employer account?
First of all it’s free! When you register an account you can access the complete enriched profiles of the candidates on My CV Upgrade. These includes premium information about candidates and way more data than traditional resumes (salary, video interview, desired type of company, results to hard and soft skills tests and much more). If you opt-in you will also get a weekly email showing the newly added Candidates of the week (you can of course unsubscribe).
How can I get in touch with candidates?
You can get in touch with our vetted candidates by registering for free on our platform. You can get email, phone number and in some cases a link to directly book a meeting with candidates you are interested in (if they provided the booking link).
Can I share my account with my colleagues?
Sure, go to your Employer profile page and invite more employees to your organization, they will be able to search candidates, shortlist them, and view the candidates already shortlisted by other team members. In this way you can easily collaborate by sharing the same account. Typical use case scenario is an internal HR team that wants to share potential good candidates with hiring managers of different company departments.
What if a candidate doesn't answer me?
We verify candidates’ data, but if for some reason they do not answer to your messages or calls at all, please flag it to us using our contact form here. We might consider suspending/deleting a candidate account that is not responsive. We also suggest you to use their other social media profiles links listed on their My CV Upgrade page to get in contact with them.
Do you have an affiliation program?
Yes you can promote our innovative recruitment platform and services by joining our affiliation program and getting a cut of every sales initiated from your unique referral link. You can cash-in your affiliation revenues or you can get discounts to buy our services (in case you are an employer/recruiter). Become an affiliate now.
What if I can't find candidates in my city or for my specific role?
We can start a custom search for you to source and assess candidates for your bespoke needs. Refer to our Managed Recruitment Packages for this purpose.
Can I use the platform for my existing employees or candidates?
Yes you can use My CV Upgrade to test existing employees (using our extensive library of over 1300 tests) and you can use it to improve your internal recruitment process (by asking your candidates to take tests and video interviews on our platform (in this case you should pay the fee for them. Refer to our Add-on Recruitment Packages for this purpose.
Can I change the data in my employer profile?
Yes you can constantly edit the data in your profile, for example you can change password or location of your company. You can ask for complete removal of your account via our chat or by sending an email to info@mycvupgrade.com
Pricing Frequently Asked Questions
Currently we accept credit/debit card payments (all the major cards issuers) via secure Stripe payments. Credit/debit card is the preferred payment method and gives you quick access to our services. We also accept bank transfer payments for Employer customers. Please use your Order ID as the payment reference. Your order will not be completed until the funds have cleared in our account.
All our prices include VAT.
We offer refund on case by case evaluation. If you want to ask for a refund please send us an email at info@mycvupgrade.com and explain us your case, we will answer you within a week.
On some special occasions we issue coupon codes to get additional discounts on our packages. If you have one code use it in the checkout page and it will be applied to your order. Please note that our coupon codes are not stackable.
Sometimes you are looking for a very specific role and/or in a very specific area. Some companies, especially startup and small companies, do not have an internal HR and/or talent acquisition department. If one of these is your case we have a solution ready for you: 2 packages where we use our platform to manage the full recruitment process and completely customize it for your needs. My CV Upgrade works with a network of experts (technical, behavioral and linguists), and is able to offer Employers additional recruitment related services to better qualify your candidates and existing team members. Typically you want to use the Technical interviews service when you don’t have an hiring manager for a role or the person is too busy with daily work. You want to use a Behavioral Interview service when you don’t have an internal HR department or someone with a psychologist degree working at your company. You use the Language Fluency service when you want to assess real language knowledge of your candidates (not only business related knowledge). You can use our tests when you have candidates in your pipeline that are currently not on the My CV Upgrade platform but you want to get an enriched view of their profile with those assessments (alternatively you can ask those candidates to create a profile on our platform…). Some companies use Talents tests services to assess their current team members.
Sure, if you are an Employer fill the ‘Company’ field in the checkout page and use the ‘Other notes’ field to add the details of your company including the VAT number and we will send you the invoice for the package/s bought.

When you are a My CV Upgrade user as a talent you already standout from the rest of the candidates, but sometimes you want to highlight even more some of your skills and competences. We offer the ability to take additional tests (hard skills, software knowledge, languages and more) to add to your page. Please note that you won’t be able to re-take the standard test by buying one of these add-ons.
